The Buddy Program at Café Opinion
The Buddy Program at Café Opinion comprised of people (Buddies) who have met certain criteria and have agreed to share their opinion with the team. Buddies are regularly invited to post their opinion and experiences around Microsoft products on a discussion board. Discussions could be about portals, messenger, email, search engines etc. Questions and comments that are considered personal are avoided.Please click here to read more.
How does it work?
Once you are a Buddy at Café Opinion, you can login, and click on the link Discussion Board to view the topics that are being discussed. Of the topics listed, select the one that interests you to view what other Buddies have said and leave your comments behind for others to read.
How often do discussions take place?
Discussions are usually initiated 1 - 3 times a month, though this number could vary. Once a new discussion is open, Buddies are sent an email inviting them to contribute to the discussion.
What is the length of the program?
Once you sign up as a Buddy we would like you to remain a part of Buddy Program at Café Opinion for at least 6 months. On completion of 6 months we will get in touch with you to find out whether you have enjoyed your stay and would want to continue being part of Buddy Program at Café Opinion.
Who is an active member?
We request all Buddies to keep the discussion alive by participating often. We will send you a message reminding you to keep contributing to the discussions. Buddies who do not respond to invitations consistently are considered inactive.
How do you become eligible for winning prizes?
On a monthly basis, program managers evaluate the quality and number of contributions that Buddies make to the Discussion Board. Buddies who provide meaningful inputs are eligible to win 1 of 20 shopping gift vouchers worth $20.00. In addition, there is a Mega prize of $100 shopping gift voucher to be won. What happens as a result of the discussions?
When a substantial number of Buddies have aired their views, the discussion comes to a close. Your comments on the discussion board are treated like qualitative research data similar to opinions gathered as part of a focus group. Like any other research data, your comments, only act as inputs that help design products better suited to your needs.
